Scanity collects specific data types solely to provide and improve our automated floorplan and property assessment services.

• Spatial & Environmental Data: We use on-device sensors to map physical dimensions and structures.

• Media Content: With your explicit permission, the app may capture video and audio recordings to facilitate property data extraction.

• Account Information: Professional credentials (email/CRM identifiers) are used to securely sync data to your chosen property management tools.

2. Third-Party Data Processing

To provide high-fidelity automated assessments, Scanity utilizes secure cloud-based processing.

• AI Assessment: Captured media may be processed by enterprise-level AI service providers located within the European Union. This processing is strictly used for data extraction and is not used by the provider to train public models.

• Cloud Infrastructure: All data is stored and processed on secure servers located within the European Economic Area (EEA), ensuring compliance with local data residency laws.

3. Data Protection and Choice

• Consent-Based: Audio and video capture are optional features. Users may use the core spatial mapping functions without granting microphone or video storage permissions.

• Privacy by Design: We utilize on-device processing wherever possible to minimize the amount of data transmitted off the device.

• User Rights: In accordance with the GDPR, users may request access to, correction of, or permanent deletion of their stored property data at any time via the app settings.
